The Right Treatment for Your Termites
Not every termite problem needs the same fix, so we start by finding out exactly what you have.
- Subterranean termites (Formosan, Asian and Eastern) live in the soil and travel through mud tubes. We protect your home with the Sentricon® baiting system installed around the property.
- Drywood termites live inside the wood itself. Localized colonies can be treated with TORO-GUARD, our non-tenting injection treatment, so you do not have to leave your home.
- When drywood termites have spread through the structure, tent fumigation treats all the wood at once, including walls, trim and furniture.
We also offer termite prevention for homes that are not infested yet, and pre-purchase inspections for buyers.

- The stations stay in place for year-round protection against new colonies.
- Installed and serviced by Toro technicians trained in termite baiting at the TORO Institute, with our on-staff entomologists.

Termite Control: Frequently Asked Questions
How much does termite treatment cost?
It depends on the termite species, how far the infestation has spread, the size of the property and the treatment it needs. That is why we start with a free inspection: you get a clear recommendation and a quote before any work begins, plus $25 off your first service.
Do I have to tent my house for termites?
Not always. Tenting is used for drywood termites that have spread through the structure. Localized drywood colonies can often be treated with TORO-GUARD, our non-tenting treatment. Subterranean termites live in the soil, so tenting does not solve them; they are treated with soil or bait systems such as Sentricon.
Do I need to leave my home during treatment?
For Sentricon baiting and TORO-GUARD treatments, no. Tent fumigation is different: everyone, including pets, must stay out until the structure has been cleared for re-entry. We walk you through every step before the day of treatment.
Are these termites or flying ants?
Termite swarmers have straight antennae, a thick waist and two pairs of wings of the same size. Flying ants have bent antennae, a pinched waist and front wings that are longer than the back ones. If you are not sure, save a few in a bag and we will identify them during your free inspection.
Do you treat condos, apartment buildings and businesses?
Yes. We treat single-family homes, condos, apartment buildings and commercial properties throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and the Keys, and we can coordinate with your association or property manager.
